All of our bears are designed and created in Somerset, England by Artist Tania Fish. The bears are all made from 100% Mohair to traditional methods and craft. Tania has been making bears professionally since September 2002 after having created some bears for presents that were greeted with enormous gratitude to the extent that Tania was encouraged to take up bear design full time. All bears are in one-off creations.
Burlington Bears is a cottage based business run by Tania Fish. The aim of the company is to make collectable bears using the finest quality materials and workmanship in limited editions.
Tania Fish is married with two children. She started designing ceramic pottery whilst travelling in her early twenties very much under the influence of Greek traditional culture. Since settling back in the UK she married City Executive Beckett Fish and has been lovingly designing bears since 1999 whilst bringing up two young children.
